Clean and Simple

Image
Hey Crafty Friends, Today I'm sharing 2 easy clean and simple designs using the Crafty Purple Frog stamp range. All supplies can be found at the end of my post. Both cards feature the all ears stamp set. For my first card I took just the glasses accessories and stamped a background laying them in different positions to create a patterned paper look. The background is stamped using Toffee Crunch Memento Ink. I then stamped just one of the glasses and coloured up using my copic markers. I back this onto the card with a small piece of foam tape to make it stand out from the background and added a sentiment, I used Catherine Pooler inks with clear sparkle WOW embossing powder. The glasses have added clear stickles to them for extra sparkle, no wonder it was hard to get my camera to focus on this one! For my second card I stamped up the Hare, he is beautiful (or she!) I love how easy this stamp is to colour and really can take focal point of your card. Using the Crafty Purple Frog digi

Happy Anniversary!

Hey Crafty Friends, On the 10th June my husbands grandparents celebrated 71 years of marriage. Wow, what an achievement!  Unfortunately my husbands pop is now in a home so my husband wanted to have 2 cards to be able to give them one each. I decided to go with a simple but elegant design and make both cards almost identical to save me some time and thought it would be a nice touch for them to have a similar card. Now I can't take full credit for the idea, a couple weeks ago I took part in a kindess hop on Instagram and saw a very beautiful card that I saved to refer back to later. Please head over to her page and show her some love she has amazing cards @havefaithincards direct link to the card which gave me my inspiration  here. I've used the Crafty Purple Frog Blooming Marvelous Stamp Set with Gold WOW embossing powder, full supplies list below. Until next time, happy crafting! Time for Tea Designs June Challenge

Image
Hey Crafty Friends, Thanks for stopping by, I'm super excited to share today's project with you. Back in April Time for Tea Designs started a brand new monthly challenge with 2 prizes available. One of those prizes is the chance to guest design for a future challenge. I was super lucky to be picked from this first challenge to bring you inspiration for June.  The theme for June is 'Create a Scene' My card today features Baked with Love and Bake my Day stamp sets alongside the Windmill Builder die. I created these super cute mice a 'cheesemill' to stage their photo as they all say cheese, as usual I'm sure with all family photos there is always one not looking at the camera!! I used the tiny small die holes from the windmill die builder set to create cheese holes in the main house! In case you missed my April entry here it is again as extra inspiration in case you need it! Why not grab your favourite Time for Tea stamp set and come join in too, you can enter
