Hey Crafty Friends, Today I'm sharing another project using a die set by Time for Tea Designs, as always you will be able to find all product links at the end of my post 😊 This project I am using the windmill builder die set alongside woodland critters also by T4TD, although I wont be building a windmill today with this set I am showing you another versatile way to use this die. Previously I turned it into a mushroom toadstool house, you can find my blog on that  here. Now for today's project I am turning the windmill builder die into an acorn house to accompany the squirrel in the woodland critters stamp set. (Click any image to view larger) Starting with the die cut pieces from PaintON cardstock which is my go to for ink blending. Once I had the pieces cut out I used distress inks to give them some colour, wild honey for the main piece and gathered twig for the door and roof, added a little around the edge of the house too for extra dimension. Next I printed the squirrel, se

Image
Hi Crafty Friends, Thanks for stopping by today, I am sharing with you a Shadow Box card today, as always you will be able to find all products links at the end of my post 😊 Recently I acquired a few Lawn Fawn stamp sets which I have not yet played with so I pulled them out and decided on the Beam Me Up stamp set. My background inspiration for this project comes from an earlier post by Amanda Fritterer on the Heffy Doodle blog using the Shadow Box Die, please visit her post  here to see how the background came together and also a link to instructions on how to put this Shadow box together. (Click on any image to view it bigger) Colour combination: Blueprint Sketch, Carved Pumpkin, Cracked Pistachio & Black Soot Distress Inks This is where my project now goes in a different direction to Amanda's who used the beautiful Hootiful Heffy Doodle stamp set. To my significant otter

Hey Crafty Friends! I'm back today to share with you a card I put together for my husbands upcoming birthday. He doesnt use social media in any way so I'm safe to share this with you a few days early 😉 It took me a while to decide what to do for this one and to be honest I'm starting this without a final idea in mind, however I have narrowed it down to using a few particular products. As always you will be able to find all product links at the end of my post. Starting with the Love circuit stencil by Heffy Doodle I used Candied Apple distress inks with a blending brush to create a background. Using my Mini MISTI I chose some images from the Heffy Doodle stamp set Otterside and coloured them up using my Spectrum Noir Tri Blends. Colour combination: Red Brown blend Next I pulled out the Heffy Doodle Stitched rectangle dies and picked 2 sizes, the largest and second to largest. I dont own a guillotine so use these dies to cut my card panels! Using the 2nd to
