Hi Crafty Friends, My cards today were hard for me to make. Some old school friends lost their father and I have very fond memories of him. He would always light up the room and have a massive smile on his face no matter what. I wanted to make my friends a card each to show them I was thinking of them during this time. I've pulled out the Heffy Doodle Just a Note  stamp set alongside bears from the  Unbearable Without You  stamp set and  Bed Head  stamp set. Stamp your images on  alcohol marker  paper and colour in your favourite medium. I'm using Copic markers B34, B43, B21,Y15, Y13, Y11, E37, E35, E33, E31. Next I've taken the  Scribble on my Heart  stencil and created a subtle tone on tone look. I'm going for one blue card and one yellow. To create a tone on tone look ink blend onto coloured card stock! I've used  Scattered Straw  on Butterscotch  card stock and  Tumbled Glass  on  Cornflower  card stock....

Hey Crafty Friends, Today I'm sharing a fun card following several challenge themes. I love challenges to prompt ideas and use supplies in different ways. First up we have the Heffy Doodlers   Facebook challenge, this challenge runs monthly in our fan group and this months theme is 'Tone on Tone'  I've taken the Heffy Doodle  Stitched Square Dies  to create a front panel for my card die cut from  Bubblegum Blush  card stock. Layer on the  Love is everywhere  stencil and use  Picked Raspberry  Distress Ink to create a tone on tone look! Die cut centrally from your stenciled panel using a  Square Frame label die  to create a window to turn your card into an interactive card! Before putting  acetate  over your window use the outer piece to help line your die cut piece onto your card panel so this is shown behind your shaker pieces. Last time I tried colouring in monochrome I used the cool grey Copic markers however I have fallen in love with the warm grey Copics. Good morning krafty friends! Happy New Year! It's January, and that means it's time for a brand new SKRAPPY CHALLENGE with  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !   The theme of course is  ANYTHING BUT A CARD ! For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card! So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like! Here's some fabulous inspiration from our Design Team this month!
