Krafty Girl Jasmin is hosting the mid-inspiration post today!

I've created a scene using the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Stone Age Friends alongside the KKS Crazy Cow Stencil. 

I used the stencil to create a stone floor for my scene, I challenge you to use a stencil in a different way from what it was designed for!



The sky is ink blended from Blueprint Sketch and Stormy Sky Distress Inks blended onto Oyster Shell card stock.

To continue my scene I have taken the Stitched Stones die cut from Oyster Shell card stock and ink-blended Hickory Smoke to give some contrast to the stones.

Finish up with a sentiment and some Swirly Cloud dies ink blended with the ink left on your brush for Stormy Sky to help it blend into the rest of your scene. I find I don't usually need to reink my brush for small elements like this. 

Attach your elements to your card base with adhesive glue and your done!

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid-month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.


This month's challenge will remain open until March 3rd!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

April Challenge - MyBesties

Hey Crafty Friends, It's a new month so that means the start of a new challenge over on the Colour it, Create it, Show it off challenge blog, as always our challenge is anything goes, that's any image, any project. Why not grab you favourite set and join us  here. If you would like to treat yourself to a new image you can find all the MyBesties images  here. This will be a shorter post again today, it's a very simple card. I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut around her. Taking a card blank and used Kitsch flamingo distress ink to bring down some colour to about a quarter down the panel and fade out into the white to give a very soft look and feel. Using some trees branches, flowers and leaves from a couple sets in my stash and a birthday sentiment to top this off and bring it all together.  I cant wait to see what you come up with for the challenge! Swan Galaxy - Interactive card!

Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome back, I'm sharing my usual design team post for Crafty Purple Frog a few days early because I am so impatient and love this card so much that I wanted to share with you all at the earliest opportunity!  Today's card is very fitting, I usually make a card with someone in mind or themed around something I've seen. My idea for this came as soon as I saw the set 'Spread your wings' This beautiful swan has big regal wings that meant it deserved the opportunity to fly! To start up I took a scalloped slimline frame die and inked up a galaxy type background, now the thing to remember with creating a galaxy background is it might look like a hot mess to start with! A galaxy background can use any colours you feel are fitting, I'm using Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Candied Apple. You can put some greens and pinks in too if you would like.  Take a blending tool, I'm using a blending brush and bring in random sections of colour using you
