Kraftin Kimmie Monthly Challenge - Orange/Stitching/Stencils

Are you ready for another krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?
We've got some fabulous ideas for you 
and can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are: 

STITCHING, STENCILS AND/OR ORANGE!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

I've chosen all 3 themes today to create this fun scrapbook layout. Scrapbooking is still quite new to me and having themes to follow has helped me to create a layout I am quite proud of!

I've used the Kraftin Kimmie Down on the Farm stamp set and coloured the horse in same colours as the horse in the pictures with my husband.
Copic blend: E18, E15, E13, E11. 
100, C9, W9, W7, W5, W3

My central piece is blended using the Lots of Love stencil by Kraftin Kimmie, I kept the colours light starting with a golden yellow blended into a lighter yellow. This makes it a perfect area to wrote down your personal note on top about the memory.

For the letters I used the brand new moxie alphabet dies by Heffy Doodle. Add detail by cutting some grass from green card stock.

I added a faux stitch around the edge of the page using a silver gel pen to finish it off.

April Challenge - MyBesties

Hey Crafty Friends, It's a new month so that means the start of a new challenge over on the Colour it, Create it, Show it off challenge blog, as always our challenge is anything goes, that's any image, any project. Why not grab you favourite set and join us  here. If you would like to treat yourself to a new image you can find all the MyBesties images  here. This will be a shorter post again today, it's a very simple card. I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut around her. Taking a card blank and used Kitsch flamingo distress ink to bring down some colour to about a quarter down the panel and fade out into the white to give a very soft look and feel. Using some trees branches, flowers and leaves from a couple sets in my stash and a birthday sentiment to top this off and bring it all together.  I cant wait to see what you come up with for the challenge! Swan Galaxy - Interactive card!

Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome back, I'm sharing my usual design team post for Crafty Purple Frog a few days early because I am so impatient and love this card so much that I wanted to share with you all at the earliest opportunity!  Today's card is very fitting, I usually make a card with someone in mind or themed around something I've seen. My idea for this came as soon as I saw the set 'Spread your wings' This beautiful swan has big regal wings that meant it deserved the opportunity to fly! To start up I took a scalloped slimline frame die and inked up a galaxy type background, now the thing to remember with creating a galaxy background is it might look like a hot mess to start with! A galaxy background can use any colours you feel are fitting, I'm using Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Candied Apple. You can put some greens and pinks in too if you would like.  Take a blending tool, I'm using a blending brush and bring in random sections of colour using you
