Project 1

For my first project I created a Key Chain, this was a personal project that I will keep for myself! I am addicted to coffee, so creating something with the Heffy Doodle Perfect Blends stamp set seemed fitting.

Starting with a piece of plain copy (printer) paper and a pencil draw around the shape of your blank.

Pencil marks will not transfer onto your final project so you don't have to worry about rubbing these out!

Stamp images into your drawn shape using Artesprix Sublimination Ink. You can stamp these outside the shape too just note you will only get the images inside the shape transferred onto your blank.

For your sentiment as the transfer is in reverse, you will need to use a mirror technique to stamp your sentiment. I am using the Artesprix Mirror Stamp, I've put this onto my mini misti and the sentiment facing up on my paper, Ink up the stamp, and use the lid of your stamping platform to get the sentiment stamped onto the mirror plate. Remove the stamp from your paper and stamp the sentiment onto your paper from the mirror plate.

The sentiment is from Heffy Doodle Tea Time Sentiment Stamp Set

Color images using Sublimation Markers.

My top tip here after making the mistake myself the first time! Put another piece of paper under the one you a coloring, additionally, try and do this on a solid surface. I initially tried in on the waffleflower media mat which is a softer surface and found the pens to bleed on this surface.

Now we're ready to make the magic happen!

Use Heat Tape to secure your blank onto your paper.
Tip: you can trim the excess paper down

Create a sandwich using the protective paper, you should have a piece underneath and on top, you can either do this as 2 separate pieces or fold over like I have below.

Flip over your sandwich so you can see your stamping as per below.
Place the project onto a protective project mat if you are using an Iron like I am for my project today.

I am in the UK so I have set my Iron to the highest setting it has available.

You can find the universal guide to heat tools and settings here.

After 60 seconds I took a peek at the project to see how it was transferring.

Peel of your heat tape and paper to see your project in full!

How amazing is that, it feels like magic!

Project 2

I couldn't stop at just one project today! These Burlap Drawstring Bags are perfect to decorate for gift-giving!

INSERT BURLAP PHOTO

For this project I am using the Heffy Doodle Highlander Stencil.

The method here is very much the same as our Key Chain above.

Draw around your bag on a piece of copy (printer) paper. Lay stencil into the drawn area. I have used Heffy Doodle Memo Tape to mask off areas I don't want the pattern.

Use a pencil to draw the pattern of the stencil onto your paper.

Color the design using Sublimation Markers.

Now you can make the magic happen again! Repeat the same steps as my first project, using heat tape to adhere your paper to the bag.

Create a sandwich using the protective paper.

For this project I used the Iron for 3 minutes for the transfer. Take a peak to see how it's doing!

I love how this turned out and will be perfect for small Christmas gifts!

I hope you have enjoyed today's inspiration, don't forget to hop along, and comment on each post for your chance to win some goodies!

Each company will post their random winner on November 29th at 10AM EST!  Make sure to check the Heffy Doodle Blog and Artesprix blog to see if you’re a winner!
