Crafty Purple Frog Stamp Launch!

Hey Crafty Friends,

Today I have a very special blog post for you.

Amy from the Crafty Purple Frog store has launched her own range of stamps and stencils! Oh my gosh guys, I am super excited and even more so very honoured that Amy asked me to be a part of her Design Team. This meant a lot to me and I really hope to be able to inspire you all!

Before I get onto it you will be able to find most the products directly in the store and there are some very special limited craft bundles which can give you some great savings on purchasing as a bundle or if you just want one or 2 things you can also grab them all individually! As always all product links can be found at the end of my post.

Ok so let's get to the exciting part, for my first inspiration I wanted to make something truly special. What better than an Interactive card? As soon as I saw this stamp set I just knew it deserved a magic picture changer! So here we have first up 'The Sett' featuring an adorable badger and accessories. (click any image to view larger)

Firstly we need to create masks for our images. Using a low tack tape (post-it notes/masking sheets will work also) and stamp the images you will need to mask. Fussy cut around the image close to the black lines.

With the picture changer die you can use the view window on each die to see how your scene is coming along and what will be shown once it's put together.

With my scene I decided I would use a blue marker to create the background so there was no need to mask the images any more than I already have. If you want to use inks or something else for the background please layer on another mask over all the images to ensure they are all covered first.

Using any medium you prefer to colour the images up, I am using Spectrum Noir markers. Ensure your scene is fully coloured before die cutting into them!

Colour combination: IG9, IG7, IG5 blended with IG1 for the dark badger and Ice Grey Triblends for the lighter badger.

Now you can die cut your pieces, line them up with the window view finder to ensure your scene is central and tape the die down before running it through your die cutting machine. There are many video's out there on how to put this together I highly recommend this one here.

There is an add on die for the picture changer in order to cover up more areas than the mini frame that comes with the main die however I don't own this, I adapted the use of the main die piece in order to create one for myself. Die cut another top piece, you only need the main solid part no need for the top fold over section. Snip away the middle pieces and cut the top straight where the fold crease is shown and you have yourself a add on!

To finish up the card I used Memento Ink to stamp sentiments from the sentiment sett and added some further accessories.

Here we have it, a sett of Badgers getting married. Isn't it a super fun card that can be treasured! I cant wait to see what you all come up with!

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
