Smile - Die-namic Display Card

Hey Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by again today, in today's project I am going to share with you a break down of how to put together this amazing Display Card die by Time for Tea Designs. Have you ever seen a display card and thought 'that's pretty awesome I'd like to try that'? This die by T4T takes all the hard work out of it for you and is super easy to put together! (Click any image to view larger)

To start off with I am cutting all the pieces from the set from various card, Bright White for the back panel and different tones of green to create a hill affect in my scene, I like Bright White especially when creating clouds with Distress Ink, it makes everything look crisp!

Before setting aside you can place your double sided sticky tape on the flap ends of the centre side pieces (left and right piece in photo above) and to the ends of the back of the front panel, leaving on it's tap later mask for easy assemble later.

Starting with the back panel which is the main card stand and using the curved die to cut across the top of this panel to create an appealing view instead of just squared off.

Next up I took out a cloudy skies stencil and used Tumbled Glass distress ink to give the back panel a cloud affect and set aside for later.

Now for the images, for the scene I am using a couple different stamp sets by Time for Tea Designs - Up, Up & Away alongside Hogs & Kisses all coloured with Spectrum Noir Tri-Blends.

It's time for the fun part, laying out the images in their position, I laid the card flat on it's back panel so I could balance roughly where I wanted to put the images and panels before I stuck them down in their permanent position! I decided that I didn't need the lighter green middle panel and stuck with the darker green for the middle and lighter green for the main front panel.

Finishing it off with a sentiment embossed and framed with a die from Pandamonium Party coordinating die set.

How easy was that! I love this display die to make these cards super easy to put together but a huge wow factor!

I'd love to hear from you in the comments on what you might be working on right now, maybe you would like to see a technique featured on my blog, I'm open to all recommendations!

Until next time Happy Crafting
