Hey Crafty Friends,
Welcome back to day 3 of sneak peeks for the new Crafty Purple Frog release. Today we are sharing inspiration for the 'Foxy' stamp set. I love this one, foxes roam around our garden all the time so as soon as I saw this regal fox I just knew it deserved a special card! I've also paired it with the new Happy Birthday everyone stand alone sentiment stamp set.
For today's card I have created a shadow box card. I wanted to create a really bright fun spring themed card.
Starting with my shadow box pieces cut out and used the solid grass stamp to stamp the bottom of the outside of the box pieces to create the grass. I then used a cloudy skies stencil on the outside to create a bright sky. Using some of the small leaves I also stamped these around randomly to give some extra detail.
Yesterday the team shared with you the Blooming Marvelous stamp set, within that set are some small bees so I decided to stamp a couple of these up around it too.
Before assembling the shadow box together I took the new 'Thorns' stencil by Craft Purple Frog and stenciled this on the inside panels of the shadow box and then used the same small leaves I used on the outside to stamp on the branches I had stenciled.
Now as usual I forgot step by step photo's! There are many videos online on how to assemble the shadow box search Heffy Doodle Shadow Box die on youtube and you will find a ton of inspiration!
For the rest of my images I stamped them up and coloured in Spectrum Noir Triblends. For an extra touch on my fox I added the mini rose to the head from the Blooming Marvelous stamp set to give her a real foxy lady look to match the sentiment.
The sentiment has been heat embossed with ultra fine bright white WOW embossing powder on strips of card cut from stitched rectangles and squares.
I hope you have enjoyed today's inspiration. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the last and final sneak peek, we might just have a party on our hands tomorrow! If you missed it be sure to check out our previous inspiration posts as well as an Insta-Hop for your chance to win the 'All Ears' stamp set from this release. Giveaway hop start here!
