Artful Angel - Out on a Limb

Hey Crafty Friends,

Welcome back to another reveal for the brand new Artful Angel release going live tomorrow! (25th March)

Today we're sharing the Out on a Limb stamp set. I get total tweety pie vibes from this set so my first card just had to feature a bright yellow coloured canary!

I've made another shaker card, it seems that I'm in a shaker card mood at the moment!

To create my shaker frame I've used the Go Wild frame dies, cut it twice from 2 different tones of green card stock. By cutting the frame twice you can rotate one when laying it on top of the other to create a fun look.

Use acetate for the window of your shaker and 3mm deep foam tape for depth.

For my main card panel I stencilled on a balloon stencil to add some interest in the background too. Add some sparkle for your shaker pieces! I've used Enchanted Moss sparkle mix to go with the green theme I've created!

Finish off with Enamel Dots, the ones I have used are from Simple Stories that I had in my stash. I love enamel dots!

April Challenge - MyBesties

Hey Crafty Friends, It's a new month so that means the start of a new challenge over on the Colour it, Create it, Show it off challenge blog, as always our challenge is anything goes, that's any image, any project. Why not grab you favourite set and join us  here. If you would like to treat yourself to a new image you can find all the MyBesties images  here. This will be a shorter post again today, it's a very simple card. I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut around her. Taking a card blank and used Kitsch flamingo distress ink to bring down some colour to about a quarter down the panel and fade out into the white to give a very soft look and feel. Using some trees branches, flowers and leaves from a couple sets in my stash and a birthday sentiment to top this off and bring it all together.  I cant wait to see what you come up with for the challenge! Swan Galaxy - Interactive card!

Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome back, I'm sharing my usual design team post for Crafty Purple Frog a few days early because I am so impatient and love this card so much that I wanted to share with you all at the earliest opportunity!  Today's card is very fitting, I usually make a card with someone in mind or themed around something I've seen. My idea for this came as soon as I saw the set 'Spread your wings' This beautiful swan has big regal wings that meant it deserved the opportunity to fly! To start up I took a scalloped slimline frame die and inked up a galaxy type background, now the thing to remember with creating a galaxy background is it might look like a hot mess to start with! A galaxy background can use any colours you feel are fitting, I'm using Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Candied Apple.
