Masculine birthday card inspired by the Circus

Hey Crafty Friends,

I'm back to share another card today I created during a live stream recently. Unfortunately the live stream is no longer available for replay on this one due to connectivity issues it sadly decided it wouldn't save afterwards for replay viewing later.

Never fear, I have put the card recipe below so you can still easily recreate this card if you want too! If you are here from the US you can find a full supply list at the end of this post to some of my favourite stores that stock Heffy Doodle products :)

Card Recipe:

1. Cut a card base from Cherry on Top card. 8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4.25" along the 8.5" side

2. Using the Showtime Frame dies cut the largest dotted edge panel from the navy blue and white dotted paper taken from the paper pack called The Greatest Show

3. Die cut the notched frame die from the multicoloured paper also from the same paper pack

4.  I wanted to keep it quite simple so I'm using the Happy Birthday Jumbo word die, shadow is cut from Cherry on Top to match our base followed by White card for the words.

5. Cut out the show stage from the At the Circus die set using the same colours as above. Use something darker for the bottom piece such as Blueberry Bliss

6. Stamp images from the Two by Two Zoo Animals stamp set on alcohol marker friendly card, colour in copics. Run them through a die cutting machine using the co ordinating die.

Colour Combo: 

Snakes - G09, G07, G03

Ball - BG09, BG07, BG05

7. Glue all the elements together and attach images to the front of your card using foam pads

8. Finish up with some sparkle using the Ringmaster mix.

Tip: when adding embellishments work in odd numbers, I like to start with 3 and work up in increments of 2 from there until you are happy with the amount on your card!

April Challenge - MyBesties

Hey Crafty Friends, It's a new month so that means the start of a new challenge over on the Colour it, Create it, Show it off challenge blog, as always our challenge is anything goes, that's any image, any project. Why not grab you favourite set and join us  here. If you would like to treat yourself to a new image you can find all the MyBesties images  here. This will be a shorter post again today, it's a very simple card. I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut around her. Taking a card blank and used Kitsch flamingo distress ink to bring down some colour to about a quarter down the panel and fade out into the white to give a very soft look and feel. Using some trees branches, flowers and leaves from a couple sets in my stash and a birthday sentiment to top this off and bring it all together.  I cant wait to see what you come up with for the challenge! Swan Galaxy - Interactive card!

Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome back, I'm sharing my usual design team post for Crafty Purple Frog a few days early because I am so impatient and love this card so much that I wanted to share with you all at the earliest opportunity!  Today's card is very fitting, I usually make a card with someone in mind or themed around something I've seen. My idea for this came as soon as I saw the set 'Spread your wings' This beautiful swan has big regal wings that meant it deserved the opportunity to fly! To start up I took a scalloped slimline frame die and inked up a galaxy type background, now the thing to remember with creating a galaxy background is it might look like a hot mess to start with! A galaxy background can use any colours you feel are fitting, I'm using Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Candied Apple. You can put some greens and pinks in too if you would like.  Take a blending tool, I'm using a blending brush and bring in random sections of colour using you
