Gift of flowers in card form!

Hi Crafty Friends,

Thanks for stopping by again today, whilst we are currently heading in winter here in the UK I always feel a bright cheerful card might be need just to brighten someone's day, instead of buying flowers I thought I would make my own very floral card instead! Today's card features the Crafty Purple Frog Blooming Marvelous stamp set. Along with a large rose image there are lots of smaller rose images. 

Starting with a large Stitched Circle die I randomly stamped the smaller images, turn the circle from time to time to get a random look in your stamping. I then coloured these using copic markers in pink, purple, yellow and orange.


I then took the large rose with the 3 different sized leaves to create a focal point on the card, I coloured the large rose in yellow for friendship. Added a sentiment in from the same stamp set and I love how bright and vibrant it turned out.

April Challenge - MyBesties

Hey Crafty Friends, It's a new month so that means the start of a new challenge over on the Colour it, Create it, Show it off challenge blog, as always our challenge is anything goes, that's any image, any project. Why not grab you favourite set and join us  here. If you would like to treat yourself to a new image you can find all the MyBesties images  here. This will be a shorter post again today, it's a very simple card. I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut around her. Taking a card blank and used Kitsch flamingo distress ink to bring down some colour to about a quarter down the panel and fade out into the white to give a very soft look and feel. Using some trees branches, flowers and leaves from a couple sets in my stash and a birthday sentiment to top this off and bring it all together.  I cant wait to see what you come up with for the challenge! Swan Galaxy - Interactive card!

Hey Crafty Friends, Welcome back, I'm sharing my usual design team post for Crafty Purple Frog a few days early because I am so impatient and love this card so much that I wanted to share with you all at the earliest opportunity!  Today's card is very fitting, I usually make a card with someone in mind or themed around something I've seen. My idea for this came as soon as I saw the set 'Spread your wings' This beautiful swan has big regal wings that meant it deserved the opportunity to fly! To start up I took a scalloped slimline frame die and inked up a galaxy type background, now the thing to remember with creating a galaxy background is it might look like a hot mess to start with! A galaxy background can use any colours you feel are fitting, I'm using Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Candied Apple.
