Happy kraftin'!
I've gone for a clean and simple design today using the new ink colour as a background. I did a swipe test upon receipt of this new ink colour and couldn't let it go to waste so used it in today's card!
Card Recipe:
1. Take a stitched rounded rectangle die and cut a panel from wildberry card stock (use largest die in set)
2. Take the next die in same set that is the next smaller one to your main panel, cut this from bright white card, take your ink pad. I'm using the new Lavish Lilac and swipe it across the card, I've done 3 stripes down
3. Stamp desired image and colour in your favourite medium. I'm using copics
Colour Combination:
Main snail - Y06, Y04, Y02
Snail shell - E18, E15, E11
Mail bag - V17, V15, V12
4. Use a stamping platform to stamp your sentiment in desired place, I went top centrally.
5. I've attached my snail at the bottom right hand corner using foam tape (don't you think he kind of looks like he has zoomed from the top to the bottom leaving a trail of mail as he goes?!)
6. Add envelope embellishments if you have them or you could use small envelope stamp images if that's what you have in your stash!
Whilst this is a simple card I love how it came out and will be adding this to the stash of cards I send to care homes here in the UK!
Don't forget to hop around the Krafty blogs today and comment as you go for your chance to win some Krafty $$ to the store!
Until next time, happy crafting!
