 Card Recipe:

1. Stamp images on alchohol marker friendly card stock and colour in your favourite medium. Im using copics.

Colour Combo:

Turtles: YG25, YG23 for main body. YG95, YG91 in the shell

Blue: B29, B24, B21

Yellows: Y19, Y15, Y11

2. Die cut some elements for your scene, I'm going with a beach theme so I've die cut a Sun from yellow card stock, Beach Hut and clouds from white card stock, two waves from a light blue card stock and a sandy area from a hill type die you might have in your stash. A straight line would also work it doesn't have to have a shape to it if you don't own one that would work.

3. Take your die cut beach hut pieces and ink them up with Speckled Egg. You can get depth on ink colour by blending 2 or 3 layers of ink over certain pieces. I have done this with the top of my hut and the area that lines the door to give the beach hut a sort of rustic look almost. For the small round dot for the door handle and the ancor decoration I have used a dark blue ink, I just grabbed a brush and used what was on there!

4. Die cut a main panel for your card from white card stock with a whimsically wonky stitch die. Ink the sky up with Tumbled Glass, from top left hand corner where your sun will sit ink up with a little Squeezed Lemonade. To add extra colour into my scene I've also gone round the very edge with Dried Marigold

5. Lastly die cut a sentiment strip from the same yellow card as your sun and use a stamping platform to stamp your chosen sentiment.

6. Use foam tape and adhesive glue to stick your elements down. By using both you can create different visual dimensions

I hope you have enjoyed today's inspiration and will play along in our challenge this week!

Until next time, happy crafting!
